Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

We are currently looking to add several full-time permanent employees to our staff in our sewing production department. We manufacture clothing for a variety of industries across the country and we want you to join our team!

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. No weekend or night shifts! Leaves lots of time for family and life outside of work unlike fast food or retail work. We believe that a good work life balance is important and we work hard to ensure that our employees are able to have the best of both worlds.

We provide full training to all new hires to ensure that you are capable and confident in your new role. In addition, we also offer co-pay medical, dental and vision benefits after just 3 months!

Pay is based on a piece work system.  You are guaranteed a pay of $16.50 per hour.  The more you produce the more money you are able to make. Wages are up to $25 plus, depending on your drive to succeed.

Garment Pattern Maker

WearWell Garments Limited is currently looking for an experienced Pattern Maker. The best candidate for this position is someone who has a keen eye for detail, can work within tight deadlines, and who can work with both internal and external customers, pivoting and adjusting to meet client needs and expectations.

Job Description:

  • Organize and prioritize daily workload of assigned projects

  • Develop graded patterns & mini markers (sample markers only) with Gerber Accumark CAD to achieve customers’ requirements

  • Identify, adjust, and correct fit issues that require pattern corrections

  • Effectively communicate and advise production team and sales team

  • Maintain style and BOM information in PLM system

  • Collaborate with production as needed for accurate use of pattern development

  • Ability to use Adobe Illustrator for line drawings.

  • Generate product specification documents

  • Ability to fit on a live model

  • On-Site working or Hybrid

Qualifications:
 

  • Diploma in a garment industry related program or Industrial Engineering (textile specific)

  • 5-7 years’ experience in industrial pattern making, grading and garment production.

  • Advanced Pattern Design CAD user, prefer Gerber Accumark.

  • Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction and related machinery is a must.

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable

  • Strong analytical thinking, written & verbal communication
